Dog sitting - the alternative to dog kennels and dog boarding
Many dogs do not enjoy staying at dog kennels. It can be very stressful for a dog with all of the noise of barking and strange smells. For some dog boarding may be the answer while others may do much better staying in their own home. This is especially the case for dogs that do not socialise well with other dogs that they don't know.
Our Dog Sitters can visit your house several times per day to care for your dog. We would recommend 3 or 4 visits per day.
The dog sitting visit will be for up to 30 minutes and will include feeding, replenishing water, cleaning bowls, cleaning up any accidental puddles, letting the dog out for a potty break, playing games and fussing as required. Dog walking can also be arranged.
We can also do an overnight dog sitting visit if you prefer somebody to stay with your dog overnight.
Having a Dog Sitter means that you will not have to hunt around for friends or family to look after your dog or feel guilty about imposing on them. You can also feel secure that your dog will be looked after by a professional experienced & knowledgeable Dog Sitter who loves dogs and will take care of your dog as though they were their own.
Daily dog sitting visits or puppy sitting visits are also available to provide a break for your dog mid way through your working day, whether that be a 9 to 5 job or a late shift - we can visit midday or afternoon/evening until late. The visit can be for 30 minutes or an hour as desired.
There is also the option of a short 10 minute potty break visit. This may be suitable for elderly or infirm dogs who need to be let out to go to the toilet more often and also for puppies. In both cases the dogs will need to be house trained.
